The Teamwork Question: Show the Connection You Created

Interviewers want to know whether you can create results with people who have different roles and views. The key evidence is how you aligned people, shared information, and unblocked the work.

Instead of retelling the team's success, show the connection or coordination you personally created.

1. Goal — what the team had to solve

   Name the team goal and your responsibility in one sentence. You do not need the whole project history.

2. Coordination — what you did

   Explain whether you organized information, resolved a disagreement, or reshaped roles. Keep the action in your own voice.

3. Result — change for the team

   Give the result and briefly say what improved in the collaboration or what you would do differently next time.

• ✕Listing everyone else's roles while leaving your contribution vague.
• ✕Using invisible phrases like 'I communicated well' with no action.
• ✕Making the story unrealistically conflict-free.

Record the story in 60 seconds, then answer: 'What would have been different without me?' If the answer does not point to an action, make your coordination more concrete.
